Effect of Nitrogen Application Methods on Yield and Grain Quality of an Extremely Early Maturing Rice Variety

This study aimed to investigate the effect of nitrogen application methods on yield and grain quality an extremely early maturing rice variety. The experiment was conducted in research field Chungnam Agricultural Research Extension Services, South Korea, 2019 2020. Two methods, BD (100% as a basal dressing) BTD (70% dressing + 30% top dressing), with three different levels (70 kg/ha, 90 110 kg/ha), were employed. results showed that treatment had comparable or higher head yields improved compared at all levels. Additionally, SPAD value heading date highly correlated both protein content (r2 = 0.838**) glossiness cooked 0.630**). Therefore, this suggests could be effective approach improve productivity varieties while saving labor costs, can used index infer taste rice. In conclusion, provides useful insights into enhance varieties.
